About
Christine Duncan is a self-taught multidisciplinary artist whose work moves across watercolor, mixed media, and sculpture.
Her practice is shaped by sustained experimentation and a material-led approach to color, texture, and form.
Her exhibition history began with a 2017 members exhibition at the Centre d’arts visuels de l’Alberta in Edmonton, Canada. Duncan’s place-responsive series Shades of Haines explored shifting light, mood, and landscape through abstract watercolor works, earning local newspaper coverage and a radio interview in Haines, Alaska.
Her work has also been exhibited at d’Art Center, Untitled Gallery, Art Intersection, Port Chilkoot Distillery, and Alaska Arts Confluence. She is based in Arizona.
Alongside this practice, Duncan creates Seedy’s World, a separate body of character-driven drawings and collages.
